The absurdly yellow, pet-sized dragon, Lemon Peel, cleared its throat and shuffled the playing cards held in its claws.

An elderly jeweler likewise shuffled his cards while eying the dragon carefully. Or so it would seem.

The card playing “pair” were, in fact, well crafted illusions designed to respond to the others movement, cheating as necessary to keep the game going. Given neither the dragon nor the jeweler expected this particular ruse from the other, they two illusions have been stuck in a continual loop for hours.

The real Lemon Peel is busy sneaking through the jeweler’s workshop, eating as many rings and necklaces as it can.

Meanwhile, the real jeweler is skulking through Lemon Peel’s lair, selecting enough treasure to cover the week’s gem grocery bill.
